Bella's first litter. Six healthy seal point Ragdoll kittens by Ralphy, born November 4th, raised at home in Leeds and placed with wonderful UK families.
Six kittens. Four boys and two girls, all seal points, and Bella's first.
We'd had our fingers crossed for Bella from the moment we paired her with Ralphy. She's such a gentle girl that we weren't entirely sure how she'd take to motherhood, but we needn't have worried. She was a natural from the first night. Patient, attentive, and absolutely devoted to them.
The kittens arrived on the 4th of November and spent their first few weeks tucked away with Bella in the kitten suite. Once they were steady on their feet they came downstairs in shifts, met the rest of the household, and settled into family life beautifully.
While they were with us we called them Jelly Bean, Starburst, Tango, Liquorice, Skittles and Bubblegum. Silly sweet-shop names, admittedly, but it made counting them at feeding time a lot easier.
We're so proud of this little group, and even prouder of Bella.
About this pairing
This is a particularly interesting pairing because both Bella and Ralphy carry the chocolate and dilute genes. That combination is genuinely uncommon in Ragdoll lines, and it opens the door to some of the rarer colours in future litters from this pair.
Ralphy passes on the classic Seal Point colouring and the famous Ragdoll temperament. Bella brings her gentle nature and her pedigree, a line full of Champions and Grand Champions. Together they produced exactly the kind of kittens we hoped for. Healthy, friendly, and very sure about people.
