Since March, Ralphy has enjoyed a busy and successful season here at Little Paws by Miles. As our
handsome chocolate point Ragdoll stud, he has welcomed several visiting queens and has continued to
impress us with his gentle nature, confidence and excellent temperament.
Many people assume that running a stud service simply involves accepting any queen that enquires, but
responsible breeding involves much more than that. The health, welfare and compatibility of both the
stud and visiting queen must always come first.
Before accepting a booking, we carefully assess each enquiry. We take time to discuss the queen's
health, registration, pedigree and breeding history with her owner. We believe that selecting the right
queens is an important part of maintaining high standards and helping to produce healthy, well-bred
kittens. For this reason, we do not accept every enquiry we receive.
When a queen visits Ralphy, she typically stays with us for three nights and four days. During this time,
we ensure she is comfortable, settled and cared for as if she were one of our own cats. We understand
that leaving a much-loved queen in someone else's care can feel daunting, so we make every effort to
keep owners informed throughout the visit.
Our stud room is monitored by camera, allowing us to keep a close eye on both cats and ensure
everything is progressing smoothly. We provide regular updates, photographs and videos to owners so
they can feel reassured and involved throughout their queen's stay.
One of the things we enjoy most is spending time with both Ralphy and his visiting queens. We make a
point of sitting with them every day, giving them plenty of attention, affection and company. We want
every queen to feel relaxed and secure during her stay, and we believe this personal approach helps
create a calm and positive environment.
Although Ralphy has been busy this season, his welfare always remains our priority. We carefully
manage his schedule and ensure he has plenty of time to rest between visits. Just like people, cats need
time to relax and recharge. These breaks allow him to remain healthy, happy and enthusiastic.
What always makes us smile is how quickly Ralphy seems to know when it is time to welcome another
queen. After a well-earned rest, he is usually more than happy to greet his next visitor with his usual
confidence and charm.
We feel incredibly proud of Ralphy and the reputation he has developed. Not only is he a beautiful
example of the Ragdoll breed, but his affectionate nature and easy-going temperament make him a
pleasure to work with. We are grateful to all the owners who have trusted us with their queens this year
and look forward to welcoming future visitors to Little Paws by Miles.
